What services do the DBS currently provide for Welsh-speaking customers?


1. A dedicated Welsh Language telephone enquiry line for Welsh-speaking customers - 03000 200 191. This line should be used for all Welsh-speaking enquiries, complaints, and for requesting all Welsh application forms.
2. Bilingual DBS pages on the Directgov website
3. Welsh versions of DBS literature, including application guidance notes. Selected literature is produced in bilingual versions.
4. The ability to apply in Welsh, on Welsh language forms, for Registration, Countersignatory status and DBS checks.

Letters/correspondence received in Welsh will be answered in Welsh.
