What is likely to cause a change to someone's status, so their DBS certificate is no longer current?
The DBS certificate status will change for all DBS certificates if:
* You have a new conviction or caution,; or
* there has been an amendment or change to a current conviction, or caution (this does not include an offence being removed because of filtering or any other reason).
For Enhanced DBS certificates, the status will also change if there is any new, relevant police information.
For Enhanced certificates with a Barred List check(s), the status will also change if you become barred by being added to the DBS Children's and/or Adults' Barred List(s).
