It’s available for people working in England and Wales, however you can also get a basic DBS check if you live in Northern Ireland or Scotland but the job you’re applying for is in England or Wales. You will only see information on a basic DBS check that can legally be disclosed in England or Wales.
To apply for a basic DBS check from outside the UK, you will need to have your ID checked at a Post Office in England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland. You have 10 days to do this after you make your application.
